Story world order, food, and act bosses
Clear the 21 published Story worlds in order, use each world's XP food, and do not confuse Story dungeons with the key-based Dungeon mode.
Trait rerolls and when to stop
Reroll at the Ethereal Guide, pay 1 or 5 Star Remnants by rarity, and keep Unique or Divine only when the placement cap matches.
Gems, Gold, and summons
Gems summon units, Gold buys food and evolution supplies, and Yen is only spent inside a match.
Evolution items and the cheap trait roll
Buy or craft the item the unit actually asks for, and roll traits on a Legendary before it evolves into a Mythic.
Dungeons, Frozen Abyss, contracts, and Fool's Hunt
Spend a dungeon key on the random Dungeon mode, vote carefully in Frozen Abyss, and expect Fool's Hunt to replace your team.
